Started as an alternative to BookExpo's now-defunct BloggerCon, Blogbound is a series of panels about kidlit and YA publishing, from blogging to social media to reading—and last night marked the third year that Julie Daly and I hosted the event at the Jefferson Market Library in New York City.

What began as a small series of panels on a Sunday has evolved into an afternoon-long festivity that includes touring the Bloomsbury publishing office and, this year, ended with an author speed date.

Planning these things is never easy—and Julie took the brunt of the work this year while I juggled all my responsibilities and some personal drama—but it's always worth it to see everybody chatting and laughing and having fun. Take a peek at a few photos of the event below.

Julie and I talked last night about the future of the event and what it might hold, and we'll know in the next few months if we're doing it again next year—and how and when we're hosting it. (There are plans in the works, we hope! It's a double-or-nothing situation. Details to come!) Thank you so much for your support, as it helps me continue to work on this incredible project. You rock.
